Eugene (Gene/Geno) Roy Scheidegger 1961-2024

Gene, 62, of Brodhead, WI passed away on February 27th, 2024 at the hospital in Monroe, WI. He was born to Sherman and Shirley Scheidegger (Anderson) on August 29th, 1961 in Monroe, WI. For the majority of his life, he enjoyed doing roofing and silo repair for his dad's company, Farm and Town Roofing. He had an immense passion for the outdoors; specifically hunting, fishing, and being at the river. He will forever be remembered for his love and affection, his hugs, and the many big catfish he caught. Gene's pride and joy were his two daughters, Kendra (Joel) Aguilar (Scheidegger) and Brianna (Neno) Heredia (Scheidegger), his grandchildren, Bentley and Ariana Heredia and Oliver Aguilar, and his beloved dog Gypsy. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mae Scheidegger (Anderson), and his father, Sherman Duane Scheidegger. 

He leaves behind his two beautiful daughters, a brother, Duane (Kathy) Scheidegger, a sister, Shelly (Bobby) Hull, his grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in the lower level of Knute's Bar and Grill in Orfordville, WI on March 23rd from 1pm-4pm. Snacks and finger food will be provided but feel free to buy food and drinks from the bar. Donations appreciated.
