Donald L. Newcomer

Mr. Donald Laverne Newcomer, 90, of Brodhead, died on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 27, 1935, in Orfordville, Wisconsin to Orville and Alvina (Sellnow) Newcomer.

He was joined in marriage to both Barbara Marsden and to Delores Buchanan. Both preceded him in death.

Mr. Newcomer was employed by Fairbanks-Morse Defense in Beloit.

He is survived by his children: Donna (Roger) Brekken, Ronald (Carol) Newcomer, Julie (Gene) Burger, and Penny (Phalan) Voegli.

Step-children: Tina (Joe) Nalbach, Jimmy Buchanan, Vickie (Glenn) Gray, Robin Buchanan, and Tammy Mathis.

Also many grandchildren, step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, time 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Brodhead. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
