Cynthia Louise Tracy, 78, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on September 16, 1947, in Janesville to Delmar and Eleanor (Bruce) Cox.
On August 6, 1966, she married the love of her life, Duane Tracy Sr. For 15 years, she and Duane owned the Roller Rink in Evansville, WI. Cynthia enjoyed bowling with the ladies at the local bowling alley in Evansville and participating in family poker nights with her siblings and brothers-in-law.
One of Cindy's favorite pastimes was spending time with her grandchildren, engaging in activities such as fishing, crocheting, sewing, camping, and sharing one memorable adventure at Devil’s Staircase.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Duane Sr.; two children, Duane (Deborah) Tracy Jr. and Andrew (Kelly) Tracy Sr.; and her grandchildren, Jason Dorsey, Brittany Tracy, Sumaiya Tracy (and Justin Schmidt), Bodie Tracy, Andrew Tracy Jr., Breanna (Garth) Warn, Cade Tracy, and Seth Tracy. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Tracy; her parents; and two siblings, Steve Cox and Candice Lawrence. Additionally, she was preceded by her great-granddaughter, Brella Redmond.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Johnstown Community Center, located at 9937 E. Co. Road A, Janesville, WI. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a luncheon. After the luncheon, a procession will proceed to Oak Hill Cemetery.
