Charles “Chuck” R. Alderman, age 70, of Janesville, Wisconsin, passed away on May 23rd, 2026. Born on October 5th, 1955, he was the cherished son of LaNore Jones (Alderman) and Jack Creighton, and stepson of Arthur "Mert" Jones. Charles, lovingly known as "Uncle Punk" by his nieces and nephews, was known for ending every call with, "I love you and tell my kids I love them."
Charles deeply enjoyed time spent with his family, his cars, boating, and caring for his beloved dogs and birds. He owned and operated a club in Indian Ford and managed nine rental properties in Janesville. Charles was a proud member of the GM UAW and worked self-employed selling advertisements for local restaurants selling menu advertisements where the business owners knew him as the “Menu Man.”
He is survived by his loving sisters, Darlin Foulker, Sandra Deegan, Cindy Jones and Bobbie Hulbert; stepbrothers Phil Jones (Toni) and Scott Jones his wife Monica; stepsister Jill Hanson (Larry); and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including Angel Alderman, Jessica Coleman (Jason), Nick Deegan (Ashley), Halie Kirby-Deegan (Corey), Bridget Creighton (Damon), Cole Hulbert (Miranda), Lance Hulbert, Bryce Hulbert, Kyle Hulbert (Peyton), and Clay Hulbert.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother LaNore Jones, father Jack Creighton, stepfather Arthur Jones, brother Jay Creighton, nephews Dale Creighton and Jason Creighton, and stepbrother Timothy Jones.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 30th, 2026, at Noon and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the Grace-Bifulk Funeral Home at 203 West Nichols Street, Albany, Wisconsin. 53502
