Catherine (Hernandez) Donahue

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Catherine J Donahue (Hernandez), age 85, of Albany, WI (Formerly Grayslake, IL) on March 13th, 2025.

Catherine was born on April 1st, 1939 (in a box car), in Mundelein, IL, to the late Nicholas and Sabina Hernandez (Maestre)

She was a loving mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend

Catherine was an exceptional seamstress, an avid crafter and an ambitious learner of many things. She was also a volunteer that continued to give back to her community

Catherine was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Donahue, and 8 brothers and sisters

She is survived by her 4 children, Kevin (Sherri) Donahue, Julie (Bill) Cullen, Sheryl Slager, Cassandra (Patrick) Ryan, 14 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 5 brothers and sisters

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at St. Gilbert's Church, Grayslake, IL at 11 am (visitation from 10:30-11 am)
